An ITIN is a tax processing number issued by the IRS. It is used solely for federal tax reporting purposes. The following legal notices apply to all ITIN-related services:

• No Work Authorization: An ITIN does not provide authorization to work in the United States. It cannot be used to prove work eligibility on an I-9 form or for any employment verification purpose.
• No Immigration Status Change: An ITIN does not confer immigration status, change existing immigration status, or create any inference regarding immigration status.
• No Social Security Eligibility: An ITIN does not create eligibility for Social Security benefits, the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), or other benefits that require an SSN.
• Tax Filing Purpose: ITINs are issued for federal tax filing purposes only. They are assigned to individuals who are required to have a U.S. taxpayer identification number but are not eligible for an SSN.
• Expiration & Renewal: ITINs not used on a federal tax return for three (3) consecutive tax years will expire and must be renewed by filing IRS Form W-7.
• Proper Use: It is unlawful to use an ITIN to obtain employment, claim the EITC, or misrepresent it as an SSN. Misuse of an ITIN may result in civil or criminal penalties.

Credit building services for ITIN holders are subject to the following:

• • Not all creditors, banks, or financial institutions accept ITINs for credit applications. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of each financial institution.
• • Credit reporting with an ITIN follows the same rules as SSN-based credit reporting under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
• • Building a credit history with an ITIN typically takes 6-12 months of consistent, positive payment history.
• • Results vary by individual. Past credit history, payment behavior, and debt levels all affect credit score outcomes.
• • RJ Business Solutions does not guarantee any specific credit score or credit approval outcome.
• • Secured credit cards, credit-builder loans, and authorized user tradelines are common ITIN credit-building strategies. Approval is subject to each lender's requirements.

Under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (15 U.S.C. § 1679), you have the following rights:

• • You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report directly with the credit bureaus at no charge.
• • No credit repair organization can require advance payment before services are fully performed.
• • You have the right to receive a written contract detailing all services to be performed, the time frame, the total cost, and any guarantees.
• • You have the right to sue a credit repair organization that violates the CROA.
• • No one can legally remove accurate, timely, and verifiable negative information from your credit report.
